We sent our first enewsletter on Friday, 2 December 2005 and here are the results...


40.1% were opened.

20% of the recipients read more than one article.

As the result of the newsletter, we landed one new account and two new proposals.

Aside from time we spent writing the email/articles, our total investment was $25/month.

For $25/month, we also know who looked at which articles and we can even infer a person's interest based on the topics from each article.

This is the kind of thing that gives us AND our clients an unfair advantage. At a very simple level, when we know what people are looking at, and when they are looking, we can time our follow-up phone calls a little better.
